Julia was born in Columbia, South Carolina, but raised in Asheboro, a small town in central North Carolina, where her parents still live. She has lived in Hungary since August 2017, when she moved here with her new husband, Will, to join him in OMS ministries.
Julia’s current role in Hungary is to support Will in his ministry while studying the language and culture. She has become involved in a music group in the Nazarene church and an English club for youth that attended OMS’ Summer English Camp. She and Will are also involved in two adult English clubs. They often host these groups and Will’s students for various events.
