Josh Woeckener was born in California, but most recently lived in Niceville, FL. He first came to Hungary in 2017 as a volunteer for Summer English Camp.

During his time at Summer English Camp, he felt God calling he and his wife, Rhoda, to be in Hungary for a longer period of time. That is why they are currently serving as missionaries here for a year. After that? They don’t know what God has planned for their lives yet, but they are confident that He is directing their paths and look forward to what He has in store for their future.

Currently, he helps with English Clubs in both Vác and Budapest, either through writing the curriculum on the topic for the week or just facilitating conversation among the students. In addition to English Clubs, he is also involved in putting together a Discipleship Movement process for local Hungarian churches that we partner with.
